The DN18KQ is a high-output 4-channel Class D power amplifier engineered for professional sound systems where power, processing capability, network connectivity, and rack efficiency all matter.
Delivering up to 18,000W total output, the DN18KQ provides 4 × 1800W at 8Ω, 4 × 2800W at 4Ω, and 4 × 4500W at 2Ω. Its high power density makes it suitable for driving professional line arrays, subwoofers, stage monitors, and other high-performance loudspeaker systems.
Power Meets System Control
Instead of relying on a separate DSP processor, the DN18KQ integrates a comprehensive DSP platform directly into the amplifier. System parameters can be configured for different loudspeaker applications, helping engineers achieve accurate system alignment and protection.
DSP functions include PEQ, FIR Filter, Crossover, Limiter, Delay, Gain, Polarity, Mixer, All-Pass Filter and Mute. Each channel features a 2048-tap FIR filter, providing detailed control for advanced loudspeaker tuning.
Touch Screen on the Front Panel
The integrated touch screen gives engineers direct access to amplifier status and key DSP parameters from the front panel. This makes setup, adjustment, and monitoring more convenient, especially in live production and installation environments where quick access to system settings is important.
Dante Network Audio
With integrated Dante connectivity, the DN18KQ can receive and route digital audio through an Ethernet-based audio network. It can be integrated with Dante-enabled consoles, processors, computers, and other professional audio equipment, reducing the need for traditional point-to-point analog signal connections.
Built for International Applications
The DN18KQ uses a 90–260V AC wide-range power supply, allowing it to operate across different voltage environments. Built-in protection functions help safeguard the amplifier and connected loudspeakers against abnormal operating conditions.
Protection includes over-voltage, under-voltage, over-current, short-circuit, DC, overload, and thermal protection.
